Ok just my best 20 mins rundown of nights events again. LLM feature won by McLeod, his 3rd of the season. Keith would take the lead from Jongen with a nice low pass in 3 at lap 19. or just past midway for those of you that are slow!!!FLMAO #10 Gord Shepherd finished 2nd, continuing a string of good runs. #17 Reynolds came home 3rd, with #69 Inglis, and #50 Woodward rounding out the top 5. First top 5 for Larry after some hard luck so congrats to him. Very clean race only 3 or 4 cautions although only 10 of 15 starters finished at end. Point leader Baker would crash on lap 8, also ending the evening for Lewis and Brown. Heats went to McLeod, Inglis, Lewis, and Baker. Thunders feature won by #00 St.Onge who passed our own BARRIE NEXT GEN 9 on the last or 2nd last circuit. Chris Burrage would have a career best 2nd place feature result, with last weeks winner #72 Marty Monette finishing 3rd. #12 Jim Belesky would have a smooth run finishing 4th, with Flyin Frank rounding out the top 5. Heats to St.Onge, #2 Tremblay, #97 Holden, and #15 Brandon, with the latter picking up his 1st ever in his rookie season. Pure Stocks it was #2 Ben Melenhorst taking his 2nd Barrie feature. Teamates #24 Tom Milligan, and #45 Derek Surerus would finish 2nd and 3rd respectively. Nick French and Brandon Crumbie rounded out the fast five. Heats went to Crumbie x2, Surerus, and Melenhorst. Charger feature it was #33 Chrissy Doucette charging to the win for the 2nd week in a row. 15 Burtoo would finish 2nd, with 07 Ball, 66 Free, and 22 King rounding out the fast five. Heats to #98 Brent Stieler with 2, Burtoo, and #2 Billy Melenhorst.A particularily bad night for most of the point leaders!!! Should be lots of tight battles near the top heading into next weekend. Could make things very interesting!!!LOL Ok well heres the basis let the feeding frenzy begin!!!LOL All in all one of the smoother nights at Barrie I'd have to say. And with impending rain in the area just glad we got it in.
