I like the idea of a tech official for each class, this would require a larger tech shed. This would also make the official in charge way more familiar with those rules. I think losing the points for the night is plenty as long as it sticks and isn't reversed the following Wednesday. This punishment needs to stick or whats the point of teching aany car in the first place. But the rules do need to change to make the class more even from the start. There are too many makes of cars out there a higher horsepower car that is lighter in weight is going to win as opposed to a lower horsepower car that has to weigh more this issue forces the cheating and then its just a ladder effect from that point on. This woulds be why most of the tracks in the states run the RWD's separate from the FWD's. If you ran just Mustangs say the rules would be simple and the same adjustments can be made for all the cars. Same goes the other way for the FWD's. It is getting out of hand and something needs to happen one way or another. Something has to even the class out. Meet with a few different engine builders and figure out what could be done with the engines to make the class even, just idea's thats all.
i still say let's have shopping cart races instead on Saturday nights...lol...kidding
