Ok I hafta say it, I'm wondering how they think they'll get away with a wet sump  engine???? any ideas anyone??

I think you mean a dry sump and no they wont

i think wade meant how will the wet sump engine handle the banking? alot of baffles?

what ment was how do they figure a wet sump pan will work?? is the banking not way to steep?

They have no problem running wet sumps at places like Winchester so they will have no problem at Bristol . They have been racing at Bristol since 61 before they ran dry sumps and even back then the biggist problem was wrecking not starving the engine of oil . That said i think it would be a bad idea to stop high up on the banking and let the engine idle . The tracks that have historically been hardest on wet sumps were places like Milwaukee . One miles with long very flat corners pull the oil hard to the right side and since your in the corner longer the engine has the possibility of starving longer .
