You will notice I havent included anything Baker Performance Parts/ GD Coates Suzuki/ Industrial Communicator race teams in my picks.. Gonna keep it that way!! 😉

Dave why have you left these drivers out?

AHHHHHH I get it now (or think I do).. That 02 Limited Late in the mall show is yours?? Too funny I had no idea you were moving up, I thought your summer meant retirement and camping with family as you told me end of last season.. Funny how times change :: What did you do fall ass backwards into the Brinks truck this off season?? ;D

I had assumed the 02 was one of the school cars redone that Micks might be running on NCATS off weekends as was rumored.. I think you need a # change back to 22 dude, as I dont really associate you with the #02..Thats if I'm piecing this all together correctly??

Anyways if you are racing best of luck.. Can you perhaps inform us of the lineage/history of that ride?? As I say been outta the "racing loop" for quite sometime now. And no worries you fall more into the Barrie Loyalist group as opposed to the fly by nighters!!!! 😉 😉

Sorry about that..I forgot the #00 TC is indeed sponsored by Industrial Communicator... Get him the hell outta my predictions!!! TC -- #10 Rick Walt
                      -- #12 Jim Belesky
                     -- #39 Travis Hallyburton

I do believe you need to take the Industrial Commutator #12 of Jim Beleskey off your predictions list too Dave. I trust your personal feelings won't get in the way of reporting the success of the 12, 00 and 19 cars on the race track this summer 😉

You have it right Rod, it would be very unprofessional to let any sort of bias effect anything I report while an employee of BSW.. To be honest I'm not sure I'll be returning to the track in my prior position anyways, as I havent heard word one as it relates to that.. Add to that this junky computer I have that tends to give me major troubles with hotmail etc. and I'm not sure its worth my time or hassles incurred.. Regardless I will be out to the track on a few occasions to watch some great racing..

Just to clarify I dont have anything against Baker Performance Parts/B&B Towing/ G.D Coates Suzuki/ or Industrial Cummunicator personally..In fact I really appreciate what those sponsors have done for the drivers and the speedway in gereral to bring some more competitive racing.. Although Dave S did cost me the oppertunity to meet and get an auto from Bobby Allison a few years back so that's why his teams are personna non gratta in my predictions this year.. 😉 After the mass exodus of Barrie drivers to begin the 2010 BSW season I also now consider Baker, Keith, Doucette et all to be "Sunset drivers".. And lord knows I dont cheer/root for anything Sunset so thats why I couldnt bring myself to pick any of them.. Call it staying loyal to the Barrie loyalists if you will!!! ;D ;D ;D

And yet there you go with Ron the former Sunset Champion picked right up there at the top of the charts. I do believe he's been back and forth a couple of times in his career. I've even got pictures of him running one night at Barrie before departing for Sunset once it opened. For shame.

John Gaunt has also run a season or two at Sunset.

Peterborough must be okay though for the Barrie Loyal because you are clearly ok with Randy Bull.

And Alan Inglis has a few seasons under his belt at Mosport (including the 2001 Late Model title) but that must not count either in the Vokey Loyalist History text.

The fact is that there are very few drivers who stay at one track for their entire career. Sometimes you sell your car and get a ride driving for an owner somewhere else. Sometimes you get a great sponsor and things come together for a return.

Anyway I am just poking at you a little 🙂

I'm really just looking forward to lots of great competition this year in all divisions at the Oro Oval and of course making your handicapped predictions look wrong at the end of it.

Yes there I go back to pickin Ron to defend??.. Shame on me.. Last I checked Russ used to drive a fair bit back at Barrie in the day... I am excited to see what the #57 might bring back to the track (rumor has it that a new look neon Yellow Sunrise Toyota/Grounds Guys R US Toyota Camry is in the works..) A tinge of Heinz 57 red might also come into play for good luck ... 😉 Regardless to say this is one car that is gonna whoop a lil Baker/McLeod ass before 2012 is up!!!.. Here's for hopin!!!! ;D ;D ;D

My last info says Gaunt doesnt even make a LLM appearance... So thats kinda irrelevant!!

Chastizing my #54 Randy Bull pick eh?? Shame on you this time:: That guy had a HUGE later half to 2011, car has a ton of motor from what I understand... And never doubt those guys from West Guliford... Unless you have a bigger death wish than I do???..... Have been waiting the last year... I kinda wanna see what becomes of the first guy that storms into the 54 LLM pit with serious intentions looks like after reprocussions...I will say it wont be pretty!!! 😉

The Al Inglis reference is also pretty irrelvant in my eyes, did I pick Alan?? No? Would I admit he's a player...YES.. but not so much if he drives OSCAAR this year...

And no worries Rod, I'm not pickin on anything Baker/McLeod...B&B Towing/ Baker Performance Racing/ Industrial Commutator/ G .D Coates Suzuki racing either...Just having a bit o fun with ya!! Those drivers do fall under my direct line of "cannon fodder" though.. Read it for what you will!!! ;D
